Pokémon X Gameplay

Welcome to the Carlos area! Here's a walkthrough for Pokemon X:


After selecting “New Game” on the main menu, you'll meet Professor Sycamore who will introduce you to the world of Pokemon and let you choose between three starter Pokemon: Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie. Once you've chosen your starter, Sycamore will also give you a Pokédex and your first mission: explore the area and catch as many Pokémon as possible.

Route 1

Exit the lab and follow the path north to Highway 1. You'll encounter your first wild Pokemon battles here, so make sure your starters are strong enough to handle them. Along the way, you'll find several trainers and items, including X Defenses and potions.

Route 7 and Cyllage City

From Parfum Palace, head west on Highway 7 to Cyllage City, home to the second gym. The Gym is led by Grant and his Rock-type Pokémon, so be sure to have some Water- or Grass-type Pokémon ready to fight. After defeating Grant, you'll get the Cliff Badge and TM39 Rock Grave.

Route 8 and the Town of Ambrett

From Cyllage City, head east on Highway 8 to Ambrette Town. Here, you'll find the Fossil Lab, where you can resurrect ancient Pokémon from fossils. You'll also meet your third opponent, Tierno, who will give you a new HM, the HM03 Surf.

Route 9 and the Glittering Cave

From the town of Ambrecht, head north on Highway 9 to Glittering Caverns. Here, you'll meet wild Pokémon and the game's rivals, Team Flare. You'll also find a variety of items and trainers, including X-special defenses and escape ropes.

Route 10 and Boulder Town

From Glittering Cave, head east on Highway 10 to Boulder Town. Here, you'll meet the mysterious Team Flare and learn more about their plans. You'll also find the Pokémon Gym, which is locked until you explore the nearby Kalos Power Plant.

Pokémon League and Victory

Roads To access Pokemon League, take Route 21 east to Victory Road. Here, you'll encounter a variety of trainers and Pokémon as you make your way through challenging caves. Once you reach the end of the road to victory, you'll face the Elite Four and the Champion to become the Pokémon League Champion.
