About Pokemon platinum

Pokémon Platinum is a popular video game in the Pokémon series, released in 2008 for the Nintendo DS. It’s an enhanced version of the previous Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl games, adding features like new areas, characters, and gameplay elements.

In the game, the player controls a Pokémon trainer, travels across the Sinnoh region to capture and train different Pokémon creatures, and fights with other trainers. The ultimate goal is to become the Champion of the Pokémon League by defeating the Elite Four and Regional Champions.

Pokemon Platinum also introduces Warpworld, a mysterious parallel dimension players can explore, as well as new Legendary Pokemon, including Giratina, the game’s main antagonist.

The Game’s Story

Pokémon Platinum takes place in the Sinnoh region, a vast region filled with diverse landscapes, including forests, mountains, and bodies of water.

The game begins with the player character as a young Pokémon trainer from the small town of Futaba, embarking on a journey to become the Sinnoh regional champion. Along the way, they will face many challenges and meet various Pokémon.

As players explore the Sinnoh region, they discover that an evil organization called “Team Galactic” is planning to use the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia to create a new world in their image. Players must team up with other trainers to thwart Team Galactic’s plans to save the region from destruction.

Along the way, players will face gym leaders, powerful trainers who specialize in specific types of Pokémon, and the ultimate Elite Four, the toughest trainers in the region. With each victory, players earn badges and become stronger.

Throughout the game, players will also encounter the mysterious character Looker, who is investigating the activities of Team Galactica. As players progress, they’ll uncover the secrets behind Looker’s true identity and his connection to Team Galaxy.

The climax of the story occurs when the player confronts Team Galactic leader Cyrus at Team Galactic headquarters on the Spear Pillar. After defeating Cyrus, players must fight another Legendary Pokémon, the mighty Giratina, to restore balance to the region.

Ultimately, players will complete their journey as champions of the Sinnoh region. However, there are still many mysteries and secrets to be unraveled in the world of Pokémon, and players will no doubt continue to explore and discover new things long after the story in Pokémon Platinum is over.

The Gameplay

The gameplay in Pokemon Platinum is similar to other games in the Pokemon series, with players controlling a young trainer on a journey to become the best Pokemon trainer in the world. However, the Platinum Edition is an enhanced version of the previous games, Diamond and Pearl, with several new features and improvements.

The game is set in the Sinnoh region, and players can explore various towns, cities, and routes. They can fight gym leaders, earn badges, capture wild Pokémon, and train their own Pokémon to become stronger. The three starter Pokemon you can choose from in Pokemon Platinum are:

Chimchar – Fire-type Pokémon. Its final evolution is Fire Ape, a Fire-type and Fighting-type Pokémon.
Piplup – Water-type Pokémon. Its final evolution is Empoleon, a Water-type and Steel-type Pokémon.

Pokemon Platinum Raiders

Chapter 1: Getting Started

The game starts with an introduction from Professor Rowan and choosing your starter Pokémon (Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup).

You then fight your opponents and head to the city of Jubilai.

Chapter 2 Jubilee City

In Jubilife City, you’ll learn about the Pokétch, a device that can help you on your journey.

You will also fight opponents and receive Professor Rowan’s package.

Chapter 3: City of Åreborg

You will go to the city of Aaleburg to challenge the gym leader Rock to get your first gym badge.

After defeating Locke, you’ll earn a Coal Badge and a Rubble Medal.

Chapter 4 The Eternal City

You’ll travel to the Eternal City and fight Gym Master Gardenia for your second Gym Emblem.

After defeating the Gardenia, you will receive the Forest Badge and the Logging Medal.

Chapter 5: City of Pastoria

You will go to the city of Pastoria and challenge Gym Leader Wake to get your third Gym Badge.

After defeating Wick, you’ll earn the Finn Badge and Surf Medal.

Chapter 6: Veil City

You will go to Veil City to fight the gym leader Merlin for the fourth gym badge.

After defeating Merlin, you’ll earn the Cobblestone Badge and the HM Power Medal.

Chapter 7 Snow Point City

You will go to Snow Point City and challenge the gym leader Candace to get the fifth gym badge.

After defeating Candace, you’ll earn an Icicle Badge and a Climbing Badge.

Chapter 8 Sun Shore City

You will go to Sunshine Coast City to fight the gym leader Volkner for the sixth gym badge.

After defeating Volkner, you’ll receive the Beacon Badge and the Demist Medal.

Chapter 9: The Road to Victory

You’ll walk through Victory Road, a cave that leads to the Pokémon League.

Along the way, you’ll battle several trainers and encounter powerful wild Pokémon.

Chapter 10 Pokémon Alliance

You’ll enter the Pokémon League and battle the Elite Four.

The elite four are composed of Aaron (worm system), Bertha (ground system), Flint (fire system), and Lucian (spiritual system).

After defeating the Elite Four, you’ll face the champion, Cynthia.

Chapter 11: After the game

Once you become a champion, you can explore the Battle Front, a facility that offers a variety of combat challenges.

You can also catch a variety of Legendary Pokémon, including Giratina, Dialga, and Palkya.

Additionally, you can complete the Pokédex by catching all available Pokémon in the game.

Chapter 12 The Twisted World and the Battle of Giratina

Once you’ve captured the legendary Pokémon Giratina, you can travel to the Twisted World.

In Twisted Worlds, you’ll need to solve puzzles and battle trainers to reach the center of the world.
Finally, you’ll fight Giratina in its original form.

Chapter 13: The Battle of Stark Hill and Hitland

You can go to Stark Mountain and explore the volcanic area, fight trainers and catch Pokémon.
At the end of the area, you’ll fight Heatran, the legendary fire/steel-type Pokémon.

Chapter 14: Palpak and Capturing the Legendary

Once you get the National Dex, you can head to Pal Park and transfer Pokémon from previous generations of Pokémon games.

You can also catch several other Legendary Pokémon, including Regigas, Cresselia, and Shemin.

Chapter 15 The Battle with Arceus

If you get the Azure Flute, you can head to the Hall of Origins and fight Arceus, the Legendary Pokémon associated with Creation.

Chapter 16: The Battle with Red

After completing all the other post-game content, you can head to the Silver Mountain to fight against the protagonist Hong from the previous generation game who is considered the strongest trainer in the game.

Chapter 17: Completion and Achievement

After completing all game content and challenges, you will earn all eight Gym Badges and beat the Elite Four to become the champion.

Additionally, you’ll capture a few Legendary Pokémon and complete the Pokédex, the game’s ultimate goal.

Chapter 18: Online Features

Pokémon Platinum includes some online features that allow players to battle and trade with others around the world.

You can connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and participate in various online events and competitions.

Chapter 19: Extra Features

Pokémon Platinum includes a few extras not found in previous-gen games, including Battle Frontier and Twisted World.

The game also includes the ability to change the form of certain Pokémon, such as Giratina, as well as new Pokémon not offered in previous games.
