Pokémon Sacred Gold

Pokemon Sacred Gold is a ROM cracked version of the Nintendo DS game “Pokemon HeartGold”, created by a hacker named Drayano.

This is a fan modification of the original game, adding new features including new Pokémon, new moves, new items, and new areas to explore.

The game also has increased difficulty levels, making the fights and gym challenges more challenging than the original game. Pokemon Sacred Gold is widely regarded as one of the most popular and best rated Pokemon ROM cracks.

story

The story of Pokemon Sacred Gold is basically the same as the original Pokemon HeartGold game, but with some extra events and characters.

Players start in the Johto area as a young trainer and embark on a journey to become a Pokémon master. Players fight with eight gym leaders to obtain badges, and finally challenge the top four to become the Pokémon champion.

However, as the game progresses, players also encounter a mysterious organization “Team Rocket” with malicious intentions. Players must stop Team Rocket’s evil plan for world domination, which involves using legendary Pokémon to achieve their goals.

Throughout the game, players also encounter other characters, including their counterparts and several Legendary Pokémon such as Lugia and Ho-oh. The story of Pokemon Holy Gold follows the same basic structure as the original game, but with some new twists along the way.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Pokemon Sacred Gold is similar to the original Pokemon HeartGold game, but with some added features and changes.

Players control a character as they travel through various towns, cities, and routes while capturing and training Pokémon. The game features turn-based battles where the player’s Pokémon battles other Pokémon controlled by other trainers.

One of the main differences in Pokemon Sacred Gold is its increased difficulty level compared to the original game. This means that combat and gym challenges are more challenging, requiring players to use strategy and careful planning to succeed.

The game also adds new Pokémon, moves, items, and areas to explore. Some of the new areas include the Wildlife Zone, which has different areas for different Pokémon, and a new area called the Orange Islands that players can explore after completing the main story.

Another big change to Pokemon Sacred Gold is that it allows players to capture all Pokemon from the first four generations of Pokemon games. This means players have access to a wider variety of Pokemon to catch and train, making the game more varied and challenging.

Pokemon Sacred Gold has several features that set it apart from the original Pokemon HeartGold game:

  • Increase the difficulty: Compared to the original game, the game has a higher level of difficulty, making the combat and gym challenges even more challenging.
  • New Pokemon: Pokemon Holy Gold introduces new Pokemon from the afterlife, allowing players to capture and train a wider variety of Pokemon.

  • Updated Gym Leaders and Elite Quads: The game has been updated with Gym Leaders and Elite Four members, who have new Pokemon and higher levels, increasing the difficulty of the game.
  • Optional features: The game includes several optional features, such as the ability to battle other trainers online and a hard mode that further increases the difficulty of the game.

Getting Started with Pokemon Holy Gold

The starters in Pokemon Sacred Gold are the same starters in Pokemon HeartGold, all from the Johto region: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile.

Chikorita is a Grass-type Pokémon, Cyndaquil is a Fire-type Pokémon, and Totodile is a Water-type Pokémon. Each starter has its strengths and weaknesses, and players must choose one to begin their journey as a Pokémon trainer.

Chicory is a defensive Pokémon, good at special defense, can learn a variety of state actions, and support the team in battle. Cyndaquil is a fast and aggressive Pokémon with high Special Attack stats and can learn powerful Fire-type moves. Totodile is a physical attacker with high attack and defense, making it a good choice for players who prefer a more balanced playstyle.

A player’s choice of starter will affect their playstyle and strategy throughout the game. In Pokemon Sacred Gold, every starter has a chance to shine, as the game’s increasing difficulty requires players to use a diverse team of Pokémon to succeed.
